New Product Giveaway

Selena Stevens Art

Presents to you a new line of art products.

This includes four designs of stencils and 3 designs of tags.

The stencils are made from a thin plastic that is easy to use to spray ink, dab acrylic paint or scrape texture paste through. They are versatile and will complement the creation of any mixed media project. The four designs are

Mouths                                                                         Eyes
Big Eye                                                               Partial Face

The tags are made of a matte light cardstock in an A6 size. The images are from my original paintings. They have a blank space on the back as well as my details. They can be used as a postcard or in a mixed media project, scrapbook layout or with card making. The three designs are:

These products are available for purchase from Two Sisters Scrapbooking & Papercraft

2017 Wrap Up

2017 has been a year of many firsts for me.  With many new experiences and challenges along the way.

Colour Blast logo

I was lucky enough to be a part of the Colour Blast Design Team since August.  This has been a great opportunity for me as I have been able to use some awesome, versatile art products with a great colour range.  It has also challenged me to come up with a new idea each fortnight and show that in a written blog post as well as challenge myself by uploading a video on Youtube each fortnight to complement the blog post.

Tags created during demos at World of Craft

As part of the Colour Blast Design Team I was also given the opportunity to attend a Craft show and have a look behind the scenes and watch the magic of the craft show unveil.  During the craft show I was able to demo the Colour Blast products and talk to the clients about the products.  It was such an enjoyable experience and I got to meet some lovely people.

Painting in my art journal at a Colour Blast retreat

While being involved with Colour Blast I became aware of the Scrapbooking retreats that Colour Blast hosts several times a year and thought I would turn up and see what all the fuss is about.  Even though I don’t scrapbook anymore I had a really enjoyable time.  I took some art products and a couple of art journals and with 2 and 1/2 days of not having to think about anything else spent as much time as I wanted creating.  Accomodation was on site and the food was amazing.  I would highly recommend people attending this.

An upcoming lesson at Two Sisters Scrapbooking & Papercraft

Another first is teaching mixed media art classes.  I have had the opportunity to teach at a local scrapbooking shop, Two Sisters Scrapbooking and Papercraft, about once a month.  With a lovely group of women who challenge me by trying to bring them something new and exciting for each lesson.

Self adhesive and HTV vinyls featuring my art

Printcess and Puddin, a local small business which prints patterned vinyl for the use with silhouette and cricut machines, are exclusive printers of my art onto vinyl.  This has been a very exciting venture I love the look of the vinyl and it is super easy to use.

One of the tote bags for sale on Society6

I have began selling some items in my Society6 shop.  Items such as tote bags, clothing, phone accessories, cushions, bed spread and many other items are available for purchase through my Society6 shop.

These are just some of the firsts that I am grateful to have occurred to me during 2017.  I am excited about the fast approaching year of 2018 with many new and exciting things to come.

I wish you all a creative and positive 2018.

Dont forget to follow me to keep updating with what I am up to.

Treasure Chest with Colour Blast

Today is my turn to bring something to the Colour Blast blog as part of their Design Team.

CB Detail.jpg

Miss 4yo and myself created a Treasure Chest for Fathers Day.  We thought that this bearded Daddy needed some storage for his beard oils and this would be a good surprise.

Colour Blast Design Team

In mid June of this year I applied and was accepted onto the Design Team for Colour Blast.  It has been a very exciting couple of months.  The team is very supportive.  The products are great – lots of colour and shimmer.  The opportunity for me is awesome.
